TIE/LN Starfighter aka TIE Fighter The TIE/LN starfighter, or TIE/line starfighter, simply known as the TIE Fighter or T/F, was the standard Imperial starfighter seen in massive numbers throughout most of the Galactic Civil War and onward. Occasionally, due to their distinct shape, Rebel and New Republic pilots referred to the craft as "eyeballs." The TIE Fighter is the original design for later upgraded TIE models such as TIE/sa bomber, TIE/IN interceptor, TIE/D Defender, TIE/D automated starfighter, and many more. The TIE Fighter was a descendant of the T.I.E. starfighter and the V-wing starfighter, both developed for the Galactic Republic, and was manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems. In addition to the TIE and V-wing, it was also descended from the TIE starfighter, the first TIE model developed for the Galactic Empire. The namesake for the fighter and line was the Sienar Fleet Systems P-s4 twin ion engines that acted as its engines. However, it also to some degree was named after an item of clothing due to its overall shape resembling a bow-tie. Wookieepedia Parts / Instructions |

The Interceptor was one of the fastest starfighters in the galaxy at its prime, nearly rivaling the Alliance's RZ-1 A-wing interceptor. Due to their speed, distinct shape, and narrow profile in comparison to the TIE/LN starfighter (which was nicknamed "eyeball"), TIE Interceptors came to be referred to occasionally as "squints" by enemy pilots. The XQ2 Platform was a basic space station designed to act as a waypoint for travelers visiting highly populated planets. Designed for deployment just at the edge of the atmosphere of planets with heavy space traffic, the XQ2 Platform helped alleviate take off and landing traffic jams by regulating the flow of ships into and out of a star system. Many Core Worlds had dozens of similar space platforms in low orbit, using them as cargo transit facilities and travel waypoints to keep traffic flowing smoothly. T-47 Airspeeder/Snowspeeder The T-47 airspeeder, also known as the T-47 light airspeeder, was a craft manufactured by Incom Corporation. They were modified by the Rebel Alliance into snowspeeders. The T-47 airspeeder, also known as the T-47 light airspeeder,[11] was a model of low-altitude vehicle manufactured by Incom Corporation.[1] When the Alliance to Restore the Republic was stationed on the icy planet of Hoth, a contingent of T-47 airspeeders were modified to become ground attack, low-altitude fighters called snowspeeders. Hoth's extreme cold temperatures were too severe for these craft; the power generators would lock up since they ran hot, requiring a large bank of heat radiator fins for essential cooling. Rebel technicians modified the T-47 airspeeder by insulating each radiator fin with side panels to decrease the heat exchange in order to better suit the new environment. Owners could choose from either an open-air or sealed cockpit, although the speeders lacked any form of combat capability in the form of weapon mounts or armor.[2] The X-34 was fast, if fairly nondescript in appearance, and measured 3.4 meters in length.[3] X-34 landspeeders utilized by the Alliance to Restore the Republic were retrofitted with blaster cannons,[6] such as the Mark II Medium Blaster. The All Terrain Scout Transport (abbreviated to AT-ST) was a scout and reconnaissance light walker[4] of the Galactic Empire's All-terrain vehicle line. It consisted of an armored command and control cabin mounted on two gyro-stabilized legs and was utilized for battle line support, antipersonnel hunting[4] and troop support. They were also commonly used to screen the flanks of larger assault walkers for major ground operations, during which they supported heavier walkers such as AT-ATs by eliminating pockets of resistance and clearing out denser terrain such as small canyons and cities along the path of a planned invasion route. Designed before the height of the Clone Wars, the AT-PT, along with the All Terrain Tactical Enforcer, led to the development of the three-legged All Terrain Attack Pod.[4] Its basic form and leg geometry were similar to that of the later All Terrain Reconnaissance Transport. The AT-XT was equipped with twin laser cannons mounted under its chin and two long-range proton mortar launchers. Also, as a defensive measure, some units were equipped with a plasma shield capable of absorbing enemy fire for a short period of time. In spite of its reasonably slow max speed of seventy-five kilometers per hour, which was only fifteen kilometers per hour faster than the AT-TE, and five kilometers per hour faster than the normal speed of the AT-RT, it was capable of demolishing entire columns of enemies. B2-series Super Battle Droid B2-series super battle droids, also known as B2 super battle droids, super battle droids, or super droids, were an advanced battle droid used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Super battle droids were much stronger than their predecessors, and like the updated B1s used by the Confederacy, they did not require a command system to operate, which gave the droids limited independence. Another improvement was their thick armor casing, which contained their fragile sensors. However, B2s were designed with simple processors, limiting their ability to formulate strategies. As a result, they relied on organic commanders or tactical droids in order to effectively operate. The B2 was much stronger than the B1s, with enough strength to lift a clone trooper off the ground. Vulture droids are seen communicating with each other, the vulture droid starfighters page has more details on it. It is likely that Hyena-class droid bombers are also able to communicate like this, due to their similar design. Imperial Gunner Imperial gunners/engineers were members of the Imperial Navy's Starfighter Corps (acting as a special sub-unit of the corps) who manned the various weapons and engine rooms of the Empire's capital ships, military bases, and both Death Stars. Imperial gunners were recruits from the Imperial Navy's piloting program that were either still in training or washed out. Even though they did not make it into becoming pilots, Imperial gunners nonetheless possessed keen eyes, superior reflexes, and a rapport with specialized equipment, and as such they were tasked to use their skills with weapons to handle the powerful turbolasers and ion cannons of Imperial vessels, such as Star Destroyers and World Devastators. They were trained in repairing and handling engine equipment, light laser cannons, light, medium and heavy turbolasers, as well as ion cannons, missile launchers and tractor beams.
